Undergraduate Forum Editorial Policy

Review Process for Undergraduate Forum

ASSEMBLAGE is dedicated to fostering the formative nature of academic learning by showcasing the promising work of undergraduate creators.

Review of undergraduate student video essay submissions shall be overseen by a panel of three editors chosen from the editorial team and/or from practicing scholars and instructors of the discipline.

The editors shall in collaboration provide their recommendation and comments in an integrated review to the creator.

In most cases, video essays will have the best chance of acceptance if they have been workshopped under the guidance of course instructors before submission to ASSEMBLAGE. The editors of the Undergraduate Forum encourage students to thoroughly edit and revise their video essays for clarity of argument and for precision in technical execution.
